Removing Urine from Bathrooms
Bathrooms typically comprise a combination of glazed and unglazed surfaces, such as porcelain toilet bowls over glazed tiles with porous grouting. Further, they are subject to long-term build-up of uric acid crystals. urineFREE can eliminate the urine smell and the source, leaving you with a sparkling clean, odour-free bathroom.
- Use a urineFREE Urine Detector to find urine affected areas, typically around the lower areas, rear and base of the toilet bowl and extending outwards across the floor.
- Spray affected areas liberally with urineFREE.
- Allow to dry.
- Re-inspect with a urineFREE Urine Detector and repeat steps 2 and 3 until all traces are gone. Two or three applications are generally sufficient.
NOTE: Never use cleaners, chemicals or deodorisers to remove urine stains & odours. These products tend to coat or encapsulate the uric acid crystals (the source of the odours) and make it difficult for urineFREE to penetrate. If you have used these products, try to remove as much of the products as possible with water and a clean cloth. Blot and allow to dry and then apply urineFREE.
